Meet The Doctors

Dr. Thomas was born and raised in Portland. He attended Oregon State University (Go Beavs!) as an undergraduate and received his dental degree from Oregon Health Sciences University. He has been practicing in Dundee since 1997.
Dr. Thomas is described by his patients as being exceptionally gentle, extremely approachable and very informative. He enjoys treating patients of all ages. His greatest reward in dentistry is seeing an anxious patient become a happy, smiling patient in his care.

Dr. Allen Methven
Dr. Methven was born and raised in Washington State. He entered the Army when he was eighteen. He served overseas and returned to start college life in Michigan using the G.I. Bill. He graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School. Upon graduating Dr Methven served in California in a mini residency where he completed more that 1,400 root canals in 14 months. He also became proficient in oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Methven and his wife, Jill have 5 children. Two are dentists practicing in Wasilla, Alaska, two others live in Oregon and their daughter lives in Los Angeles. He and Jill have two grand children and are hoping for a lot more. When he is not practicing dentistry 4 days a week, Dr. Methven and his wife run their winery and take care of their vineyard in the Eola Hills near Hopewell. His other interests include spending time with the grand children, raising honey bees, fishing, and mushroom hunting.
Dr. Methven works well with patients of all ages. He has a gentle caring attitude towards his patients, and his motto is "We Cater to Cowards" (of which he admits he is one when it comes to sitting in the dental chair, just like most people). No work is done on a patient without the patient fully understanding their options as well as the costs. Communication is the most important part of all patient-dentist relationships. We actually have people say that they almost enjoy their visits to our office. They love the staff and the doctors and the way that they are treated in our office.Affiliations:
